Grounding Transformer

 
Specially engineered to provide fault detecting and voltage control in deltaconnected
systems like wind farm medium-voltage networks:

  • Provide low impedance ground path by maintaining the neutral at or near
    ground potential
  • Limit the magnitude of transient over-voltages when re-striking ground faults
    occur
  • Provide a source of ground fault current during line to ground faults
  • Provide power to a secondary load, if desired
